The Astoria International School is proud to announce that we have been accepted to the Cambridge Primary program, thus becoming a Cambridge school. As a private school in Lisbon our mission always was and still is “create, innovate and grow” and we, as educational role models, feel that we have the responsibility to always seek the best for our families and children and this is one of the reasons we aim for international standards.
Cambridge Primary program is recognized worldwide and according to Cambridge this program “…not only build understanding and knowledge required for progression, but also learning and thinking skills that help students become independent learners and equip them for life”.
This initiative shows our commitment as a bilingual school to make excellent progress in national education. The culture of our school is centered in helping our students become more confident, resourceful, entrepreneurs and enquiring. Through the many initiatives we promote throughout the academic year and our pedagogical curriculum we are training our children for success and promoting their international awareness.
