In April the 2-year-old Pumpkins were little explorers!
Through their curiosity they discovered tiny animals that arrived with the onset of spring: bees, snails, crickets, butterflies, silkworms, and many more.
From their many learnings they discovered that honey comes from bees that live in hives, and that caterpillars cocoon themselves into beautiful butterflies.
Then they welcomed a cricket and two snails into their classroom. They saw what they eat and how they move around, and then they returned them to their habitat next to the beautiful flowers at our school.
Finally, on the weekend with their parents they went for a walk to see more animals and brought back pictures and reports of everything they discovered.
It was a beautiful project about Nature!
