Astoria International School, a partner of the Erasmus+ SMILE project, has visited Scoil Bhríde Shantalla in Galway,Ireland.
This visit’s main focus was to learn more about forest schools methodology and on how to use the outdoorsto learn Mathematics. All partner countries, including AIS, had to teach mathematics lessons during the week in the school using natural resources to teach in a more diverse and creative way.
We had several trainings including new methodologies to teach maths linked to other subject areas using the multidisciplinary system. It was without a doubt a very rewarding experience.
