As the first contact with learning is a moment of discovery for the child, each day at Astoria International School is specially designed and planned so that the child has the opportunity to develop specific skills in the areas of literacy, English language, logic-mathematics, psychomotor skills and culture through the experience of new sensations, colors, textures and sounds and the creation of affectionate relationships with other children and adults. e motricidade
The daycare at Astoria International School welcomes children between the ages of 12 months and 3 years old.
CAREFUL FEEDING
Since we value the integral development of the child, food and health care at the daycare are ensured by a specialized team that follows the children on a daily basis.
BILINGUAL TEACHING
At daycare we teach content through language, thus facilitating the learning of some concepts and promoting the most natural teaching possible. In this way, students learn in a fun and playful way, with simultaneous contact with both languages – Portuguese and English.
Some of the strategies used in our activities include the use of puppets, educational games, role-plays of short stories, choreographed songs and many visual resources.

REGISTRATION FORM
1) By introducing contact with the English language at such a young age, we ensure a gradual development of the baby’s language skills which will benefit and facilitate learning English and other languages at a later age.
2) The enrollment of new students can be done throughout the year, taking into consideration the legislation in force.
3) The student’s enrollment is made after visiting the school, by filling and signing the appropriate forms, and its payment includes the value corresponding to the school insurance. In the event of withdrawal or transfer of the student to another school, the registration fee will not be refunded.
4) The enrolment, which confers the status of student at Astoria International School, implies the acceptance of the legal rights and duties applicable to the Internal Regulations and all documents that are part of them.
