Our Activities and Events

At Astoria International School, we offer a variety of activities and events that enrich the school experience for our students and their families. Among our key initiatives are Culture Week, which celebrates cultural diversity, MasterChef, which encourages culinary skills, and World Children’s Day, filled with playful activities. Additionally, we organise events such as Carnival, which promotes creativity and fun, and workshops for parents and children that strengthen family bonds and provide joint learning opportunities. These activities are part of AIS’s commitment to providing a comprehensive and engaging education.

Overnight Camp

The overnight camp at Astoria International School is a unique experience where students spend the night at school, participating in various fun and educational activities. This activity promotes independence, socialisation, and teamwork among children, creating unforgettable memories.

Culture Week

Culture Week celebrates cultural diversity through a week full of themed activities. Students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures, traditions, and languages, promoting understanding and respect for diversity.

Masterchef

Astoria’s MasterChef is a culinary competition where students showcase their cooking skills. This activity encourages creativity, teamwork, and an appreciation for gastronomy while promoting healthy eating habits.

World Children's Day

On World Children’s Day, Astoria International School organises a series of fun and educational activities to celebrate childhood. Games, workshops, and performances are some of the attractions that make this day special for all students.

Welcome for New Students

The welcome for new students is a special activity aimed at integrating and welcoming new students to Astoria International School. Through interactive activities and school tours, new students have the chance to meet their peers, teachers, and facilities, facilitating their adaptation to the new school environment.

Carnival

Carnival at Astoria is a colourful and joyful celebration where students participate in parades, costume contests, and cultural activities. This celebration promotes creativity, artistic expression, and fun.

Parent and Child Workshops

The workshops for parents and children offer a unique opportunity for learning and strengthening family bonds. The activities are designed to be educational and fun, promoting collaboration and understanding between parents and children.

Beach Activities

The beach activity at Astoria International School provides a day full of fun and outdoor learning. Students participate in beach games, supervised water activities, and workshops about the marine environment, promoting environmental education and socialisation.

Field Trips

Field trips are planned to enrich the students’ curriculum through practical and interactive experiences outside the classroom. These educational excursions allow students to explore new locations and learn about history, science, art, and culture in an engaging and memorable way.

Halloween

Halloween at Astoria is a celebration filled with fantasy and fun, where students dress in creative costumes and participate in themed activities such as parades, spooky games, and costume contests. This party promotes creativity and social interaction in a safe and festive environment.

Assemblys

Assemblies are regular meetings held at Astoria International School, where students and teachers come together to discuss important topics, celebrate achievements, and present projects. These meetings encourage communication, sharing of ideas, and a sense of school community.

Summers Camp

Astoria’s Summer Camp offers a diverse summer programme with recreational, sports, and educational activities. This summer camp is an excellent opportunity for students to develop new skills, make friends, and have fun during the school holidays in a safe and stimulating environment.

Enrollment Form

Pre-Registrations Open

  1. The enrollment of new students can be done throughout the year in accordance with current legislation.

  2. After the family fills out the enrollment form, AIS will send an email to schedule a visit with the Psychology and Guidance Department, where the AIS educational project and admission conditions will be presented.

  3. The student’s enrollment will be completed after an in-person visit to the school, upon completion and signing of the necessary documentation for enrollment at AIS.

  4. The enrollment fee includes the cost of school insurance.

  5. In the event of withdrawal/transfer of the student to another educational institution, the enrollment fee will not be refunded.

  6. Enrollment, which grants the status of a student at Astoria International School, implies acceptance of the legal rights and duties applicable under the Internal Regulations.
