School Fees 2026/2027

The annual tuition fee includes school insurance. The enrolment fee is payable in February of each academic year and is non-refundable. For new students, only the termly and annual payment plans are available.

At the beginning of the academic year, each student is issued a magnetic student ID card.

Extended Hours

The Extended Hours service provides care and supervision for students from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, offering peace of mind for families with longer working hours.

Balanced, age-appropriate meals prepared with fresh ingredients. We offer options for students with food allergies and intolerances. The meal plan always includes a morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and a late afternoon snack.

Note

Meal fees are non-refundable during the school year, regardless of absences. To change the selected meal plan, written notice must be submitted to the Administration Office at least 30 days in advance.

Tutoring

Personalised support in Mathematics and Portuguese, available as one-to-one lessons or in small groups of up to three students. Tuition includes two 45-minute sessions per week.

School Transport

School transport is provided by a specialist transport company that partners with Astoria International School. Registration for this service must be completed directly by the Parent or Legal Guardian with the transport provider.

Administrative Policies

Payment Options

Tuition fees may be paid according to the selected payment plan, as follows:

Annual Payment: One single payment due by 25 July.
3 Instalments (Every Four Months): Payments due in July, November and March, by the 25th of the respective month.
11 Instalments: Monthly payments from September to July, due by the 3rd of each month. For Lower Secondary School (Years 5–9), the 11th instalment is split into four equal payments, due in October, November, December and January.
12 Instalments: Monthly payments from September to August, due by the 3rd of each month. The 12th instalment is split into three equal payments, due in November, December and January.

Discounts and Partnership Agreements

Discounts granted under partnership agreements with Astoria International School are not cumulative with any other discounts provided under the School’s Internal Regulations.
Payments made using the Childcare Voucher Scheme are not eligible for discounts and must be paid in advance on a four-monthly basis.

Late Payment Policy

Failure to pay by the 3rd day of each month will incur a 15% late payment fee on the outstanding balance from the 4th day onwards, and the student will be automatically suspended from the first day of the following month.
Once enrolled, the student is liable for the full annual tuition fee, regardless of the month in which attendance begins.
The annual tuition fee covers the academic year from September to August.

Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal from the School only becomes effective once submitted in writing to the School Management at least 90 days in advance.
If the student leaves up to December of the relevant academic year, payment of the instalments corresponding to the 90-day notice period remains mandatory.
If the student leaves from January onwards, payment of all remaining instalments under the contracted annual tuition fee is required.

Enrolment Renewal

Students may only renew their enrolment once all outstanding fees from the previous academic year have been paid in full.
Enrolment renewal takes place each February for the following academic year. The renewal fee is non-refundable.
