National Pyjama Day takes place on 20 November every year. The date coincides with the day of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.

National Pyjama Day is a day of education and solidarity by children who help other children. The day is based on play, education and solidarity.

The day aims to defend the right of all children to grow up in the bosom of a family, especially children who, for various reasons, are separated from their biological families.

On this day, all children bring the comfort of their pyjamas from home to school so that they can have a huge pyjama party at school too.
