Last January, Edelweiss once again participated in the usual “Uma Aventura Literária” contest, promoted by authors Ana Maria Magalhães and Isabel Alçada.

This contest aims to encourage reading and the importance of listening to stories, as well as writing and creativity, among both young and grown-ups. To this end, we began reading the book Uma Aventura no Fim
das Férias back in October.

It was a long reading journey, which we carried out almost daily, allowing us to immerse ourselves in a true
adventure by land and sea. Alongside the familiar five friends we know so well, many other characters were introduced, making each chapter exciting. Day by day, we became increasingly eager to see how events would unfold, anxiously waiting to reach the final pages and discover how each story would conclude! As we approached the end, we knew what was coming: the much-anticipated drawing inspired by the book.
As per the contest rules, these artworks had to be created in black and white. Each student chose a moment from the story and represented it through their drawing, resulting in beautiful works of art! Now, all that’s left is to wait and see if any of these masterpieces will be among the big winners.

Stay tuned for updates from us!
